Project Concern Helps Children Prepare for School

Sept. 1, 2010

Through donations of funds and school supplies from Curves of Bayview, Lucas Milhaupt Inc., area parishes and many individuals. Project Concern of Cudahy and St. Francis is helping ensure that local children are prepared for school. Any child who receives free lunch is eligible for free school supplies; parents just need to sign-up at Project Concern as soon as possible. Children that attend the Cudahy Elementary schools, General Mitchell, Kosciuszko, Lincoln, and Parkview may pick-up their school supplies right at school. Parents of children going to all other schools are able to pick-up school supplies from Project Concern the last week of August. The food pantry’s hours of operation are Monday, 9am to noon and 3pm to 6pm and Wednesday and Friday from 9am until noon. Any questions can be directed to Project Concern at 414-744-0645 or projconcern@msn.com.
