Do you have your tickets for the Miss St. Francis Pageant April 10th??
The 46th Annual Miss St. Francis Scholarship Pageant will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at St. Thomas More HS Auditorium. The nine contestants are busy rehearsing weekly to learn an opening production number, work on their individual talent selections and prepare for their personal interviews, as well as the evening wear and swimsuit competitions. Recently they visited the From Hair On Salon & Boutique in Brookfield to get hair styling and make up tips from owner, Ceil Schwalbach.
Tickets are $10 for reserved seats and are now available from the contestants. A scholarship will be awarded to the contestant selling the most tickets. The 2010 contestants are: Angela Ahcin (Oak Creek), Kerrie Bednarz (St. Francis), Jessica Gaidosh (Oak Creek), Ann Hancock (South Milwaukee), Mary Kappus (Cudahy), Amanda Latherow (Oak Creek), Courtney MacDonald (Oak Creek), Alexa Nommensen (Oak Creek) and Melissa Verstegen (South Milwaukee)
The winner will succeed Deborah Hammernik, Miss St. Francis 2009. Scholarships will be offered to all the participants with the winner receiving $2,500 to the school of her choice and the opportunity to compete at the 2010 Miss Wisconsin Pageant in June 13-10 in Oshkosh, WI.
