On Saturday, March 2nd, SFHS participated in their first ever Polar Plunge. The temperature was a chilling 24 but staff and students alike braved the bitter cold and took the plunge side by side to benefit Special Olympics.
SFHS Principle Andy Muszytowski showed his spirit as he took part in the “Freezin’ for A
Reason” as well as six other staff members and 19 motivated students.
Math teacher and event organizer Bob Sliwinski was impressed with the overall turnout of this event. Approximately $2000.00 was raised on behalf of St Francis High School to benefit Special Olympics.
A special thanks to all who donated funds to make this cause such a success and to those brave souls who took the plunge.
