Cudahy

THEFT

Diesel fuel valued at $380 was siphoned from a truck at WTS Trucking, 5821 S. Pennsylvania Ave., on July 25 and Aug. 8.

A 37-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for retail theft by Oak Creek police after he took $250 worth of items from the Cudahy Pick 'n Save, 5851 S. Packard Ave. The man was arrested at the Oak Creek Pick 'n Save on Aug. 14. He had about $1,531 worth of merchandise in his vehicle.

Drills, saws and other tools were taken from a van in the 6100 block of South Cory Avenue on Aug. 15. Loss is estimated at $2,100.

A catalytic converter valued at $800 was cut from a truck in the 4600 block of South Kinnickinnic Avenue between Aug. 15 and 18.

A catalytic converter valued at $120 was cut from a vehicle in the 3000 block of East Adams Avenue on Aug. 17.

A video game system, digital media player and other items were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 4500 block of South Kinnickinnic Avenue either Aug. 18 or 19. Loss is estimated at $565.

A patio set, fire pit and gas grill were taken from a backyard in the 2800 block of East Carpenter Avenue on Aug. 21. Loss is estimated at $800.

A DVD player, Global Positioning System and man's watch were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3800 block of East Van Norman Avenue on Aug. 21. Loss is estimated at $600.

A television with a DVD and CD player was taken from the dashboard of a locked vehicle outside Patrick Cudahy, 1 Sweet Applewood Lane, on Aug. 22. Loss is estimated at $600.

A fire pit valued at $100 was taken from a backyard in the 3200 block of East Grange Avenue on Aug. 23.

Patio furnishings valued at $1,000 were taken from a yard in the 5400 block of South Barland Avenue on Aug. 23.

ASSAULTS

A 32-year-old Cudahy man was cited for domestic violence-related battery after punching his wife in the jaw outside their residence on Aug. 23.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of marijuana, drunken driving, driving without a valid license and driving with open intoxicants in the vehicle after she was pulled over for driving on the wrong side of South Lake Drive near Layton Avenue on Aug. 17.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 39-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for his fourth drunken-driving offense in the 3900 block of East Allerton Avenue on Aug. 18. He stuck a curb on Lake Drive and almost hit two cars and several trees before parking the vehicle.

VANDALISM

A 42-year-old Cudahy man was cited for disorderly conduct and damage to property for burning his live-in girlfriend's clothing and slashing two tires on her vehicle. Damage is estimated at $500.

A store window at Sheila's Flower Shop, 4903 S. Packard Ave., was broken Aug. 17. Damage is estimated at $500.

An apartment window was punctured by six pellets fired from a BB gun in the 2800 block of East Allison Avenue on Aug. 18. Damage is estimated at $300.

A home's picture window was damaged by a pellet fired from a BB gun in the 2800 block of East Holmes Avenue on Aug. 19. Damage is estimated at $300.

A brick was thrown through the rear window of a vehicle in the 5800 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue Aug. 22 or 23. Damage is estimated at $1,000.

A vehicle's window was smashed outside Patrick Cudahy, 1 Sweet Applewood Lane, on Aug. 23. Damage is estimated at $200.

FIRE CALLS

The Cudahy Fire Department responded to 37 ambulance calls, one fire call and four service calls last week.

St. Francis

BURGLARY

A video game system, several video games and a digital camera were taken from a residence in the 2700 block of East Bolivar Avenue between noon and 9:35 p.m. Aug. 15. Loss is estimated at $1,840.

THEFT

A wallet containing $65 and bank cards was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 4500 block of South Whitnall Avenue prior to 7:47 a.m. Aug. 24. Loss is estimated at $150.

Two electrical plate covers were taken from the 2300 block of East Elizabeth Avenue prior to 12:14 p.m. Aug. 24.

Scrap metal valued at $1,000 was taken from a trash bin behind Advance Screw Products, 3767 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., prior to 10:40 a.m. Aug. 25.

VANDALISM

A vehicle was scratched and otherwise damaged in the 4300 block of South Nicholson Avenue prior to 3:51 p.m. Aug. 20. Damage is estimated at $1,365.

A basketball hoop was damaged behind Sway's Mexican Grill restaurant, 4048 S. Packard Ave., prior to 2:06 p.m. Aug. 22. Damage is estimated at $300.

Graffiti was found on a garage in the 3700 block of South Iowa Avenue at 11:15 a.m. Aug. 24. Damage is estimated at $200.

Graffiti was found on two garages in the 3700 block of South Ahmedi Avenue at noon Aug. 24. Damage is estimated at $100.

Graffiti was found on a vehicle in the 3600 block of South Ahmedi Avenue at 2:11 p.m. Aug. 24. Damage is estimated at $100.

OTHER

A 29-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct for causing a disturbance in the 4100 block of South Troy Avenue at 4:14 a.m. Aug. 16.

A 60-year-old St. Francis man was cited for disorderly conduct due to a noise complaint in the 3500 block of East Tesch Avenue at 3:03 a.m. Aug. 21.

The St. Francis Police Department made one domestic violence arrest last week.

FIRE CALLS

The St. Francis Fire Department responded to 25 ambulance calls and three fires last week.

South Milwaukee

BURGLARY

A video game system, five games and two controllers were taken from an unlocked residence in the 1400 block of Rawson Avenue prior to 10:52 p.m. Aug. 19. Loss is estimated at $500.

THEFT

Two ladders were taken from a yard in the 1200 block of Minnesota Avenue between 5 p.m. Aug. 19 and 11 a.m. Aug. 20. Loss is estimated at $200.

Two necklaces were taken from a residence in the 2900 block of Seventh Avenue prior to 2:46 p.m. Aug. 24. Loss is estimated at $500.

ASSAULTS

A 34-year-old South Milwaukee man was assaulted by a man in the 1200 block of North Chicago Avenue at 6:39 p.m. Aug. 20.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 48-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving at 15th and Blake avenues at 12:29 a.m. Aug. 19. His blood-alcohol content was 0.24.

A 39-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for her second drunken-driving offense at Ninth and Mackinac avenues at 2 a.m. Aug. 20. Her BAC was 0.16.

A 51-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at George Webb, 211 N. Chicago Ave., at 9:22 p.m. Aug. 24. His BAC was not available.

VANDALISM

A vehicle's windshield was smashed in the 700 block of Marquette Avenue prior to 5:56 a.m. Aug. 18.

A truck's window was shattered by a brick in the 700 block of Madison Avenue prior to 11:36 p.m. Aug. 22.

A vehicle's windshield was shattered by a brick in the 1800 block of Manitoba Avenue prior to 9:10 a.m. Aug. 23.

A vehicle was damaged in the 1000 block of Sycamore Avenue prior to 5:45 p.m. Aug. 23.

OTHER

A 31-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct for entering a home and trying to sell an extension cord to a resident near Sixth and Madison avenues at 5:57 p.m. Aug. 18.

A 31-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct for kicking in a door and yelling in the 600 block of Madison Avenue at 8:46 p.m. Aug. 19.

FIRE CALLS

The South Milwaukee Fire Department responded to 45 ambulance calls, four fires and one service call last week.
