CUDAHY

THEFT

· Two Cudahy residents, a 34-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, separately reported license plates were stolen off their cars between 5 p.m. Feb. 14 and 12:30 a.m. Feb. 15. Both discovered the plates missing after returning to their homes, but both had been parked near the Light Palace, 5880 S. Packard Ave.

ASSAULTS

· A 45-year-old Cudahy man was cited for assault for allegedly biting his 49-year-old brother in the arm, just after 6 p.m. Feb. 14 in the apartment they share at 3000 E. Grange Ave. The older brother told police his brother "is intolerant of any drinking within the house." When he went to get a beer from the refrigerator, his younger brother "began to yell at him demanding he stop drinking," then threw a lit cigarette at him. When the cigarette missed, his brother bit him. The younger brother told police, "I bit him in the arm because I don't want him drinking anymore."

· Police are seeking a 24-year-old man who allegedly attacked his 23-year-old girlfriend just before 6 p.m. Feb. 15 at their apartment.

· A 20-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for battery after an incident at about 9 p.m. Feb. 15 in the 3700 block of East Iona Terrace. According to police reports, the man threw a battery at his girlfriend, a 21-year-old South Milwaukee woman, after she had flushed some of his prescription medications down a toilet.

· Police are seeking a 42-year-old Cudahy man to face charges of assault, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after an incident at 2:20 a.m. Feb. 21 in the 5500 block of South O'Brien Avenue. According to police reports, the man threw his girlfriend, a 38-year-old St. Francis woman, to the ground, pulled her hair and smashed a window in her car, causing $250 damage.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

· A 27-year-old Oak Creek woman was cited for operating while intoxicated after being stopped in the 5800 block of South Packard Avenue at 11:06 p.m. Feb. 12. Her blood alcohol content was 0.11.

· A 21-year-old South Milwaukee woman was cited for operating while intoxicated after being stopped in the 3800 block of East Underwood Avenue at 2:29 a.m. Feb. 13. She also was cited for operating after revocation and obstructing an officer, since she originally gave a false name and false birth date. Her BAC was 0.13.

· A 21-year-old Cudahy man was cited for operating while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the 5400 block of South Whitnall Avenue. A search turned up a knife and brass knuckles, so he was also cited for carrying a concealed weapon. His BAC was 0.13.

· Cudahy police responded to two other domestic violence incidents between Feb. 14 and 20.

ST. FRANCIS

OTHER

· At 10:57 a.m. Feb. 17, a 25-year-old man was arrested for obstructing an officer after hiding at a home in the 3700 block of South Iowa Avenue. The man was sought on warrants from Franklin, Greenfield and Oak Creek.

· A 50-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at Family Dollar, 3048 E. Layton Ave. The man, described as intoxicated, cursed and made vulgar comments to a store employee. When officers arrived, he cursed and spat at them.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE

BURGLARY

· A home in the 500 block of Elm Avenue was burglarized overnight Feb. 13 or 14. Burglars took $12,000 in cash and 75 oxycodone pills. Entry was gained through the back bedroom window.

THEFT

· A 49-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and theft after an incident at 11:51 a.m. Feb. 10 at Pick 'n Save, 2931 S. Chicago Ave. According to police reports, the man took two packages of medicine and two energy drinks, with a combined value of $28. When he was confronted by three employees, he shoved and cursed them, and broke the glasses of one.

· A 37-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for theft after taking several items of clothing, food and jewelry, with combined value of $66, from Walmart, 222 N. Chicago Ave., at 7:23 p.m. Feb. 14. The woman was accompanied by a friend's 6-year-old daughter, but the girl was not involved in the theft.

ASSAULTS

· After a caller heard a scream for help, a 31-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for battery after allegedly beating a 22-year-old Milwaukee woman at about 5 a.m. Feb. 16, and leaving her in the 800 block of Park Avenue. According to police reports, the two had been at a bar on the south side of Milwaukee and became lost after leaving. When they arrived in South Milwaukee, the man asked the woman where they were and she did not know. He became angry, punched and kicked her several times, and dragged her out of his car. He was stopped shortly afterward by police in Oak Creek.

· A 24-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence at 12:23 p.m. Feb. 18 after allegedly hitting his 23-year-old girlfriend and pulling her hair at a South Milwaukee apartment.

ACCIDENTS

· A 50-year-old man from Salem, Wis., was cited for failure to yield after a collision with a 22-year-old South Milwaukee woman at 13th and Manitowoc avenues at 5:25 p.m. Feb. 18. According to police reports, the Salem man was driving a truck eastbound on Manitowoc, failed to observe a stop sign and struck the woman driving southbound on 13th.

· A 95-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for failure to yield after a collision with a 30-year-old South Milwaukee man in the 200 block of Southtowne Drive at 9:33 a.m. Feb. 19. According to police reports, the older man was leaving a driveway, but failed to observe a stop sign and struck the younger man, who was driving southbound on Southtowne.

OTHER

· A 53-year-old South Milwaukee woman may regret making an illegal U-turn in the 500 block of Madison Avenue at 6:18 p.m. Feb. 14. The woman was stopped and found to owe $700 in fines for speeding, resisting and obstructing, and failure to license an exotic pet. She also had to post bail for a 23-year-old son, who owed $533 in fines for resisting an officer, theft and operating without a license.

· An 18-year-old South Milwaukee woman and a 25-year-old Oak Creek man were found walking naked in Grant Park, 100 Hawthorne Ave., at 2:37 p.m. Feb. 19. According to police reports, the duo "appeared to be under the influence of some type of drug." Both were cited for disorderly conduct.

· South Milwaukee police responded to four domestic violence incidents between Feb. 14 and 20.
