CUDAHY

BURGLARY

• A plasma TV, a video gaming unit, a DVD player, a desktop computer, a printer, a keyboard, a router, a cable box modem and four computer speakers were taken from a residence in the 3600 block of East Armour Avenue between 6 a.m. Aug. 9 and midnight Aug. 12. Access was gained by prying open a window. Loss is estimated at $860.

• A screen was damaged after suspects attempted to burglarize St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3515 E. Van Norman Ave., between 4:45 p.m. Aug. 12 and 6 p.m. Aug. 15. Nothing was reported missing. Damage is estimated $200.

THEFT

• A car radio, an amplifier, a subwoofer and a wallet were reported taken from a locked vehicle in the 3800 block of East Cudahy Avenue about 6:30 a.m. July 12. Access was gained by smashing a window. Loss and damage are estimated at $1,600.

• A purse containing $325 and personal items was reported taken in the 5500 block of South O'Brien Avenue between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Aug. 7. Loss is estimated at $350.

• Nine hundred dollars was taken from a dresser drawer in a residence in the 5600 block of South Illinois Avenue between 10:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. Aug. 14.

• A military knife, a duffle bag containing several tools, and loose change were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3800 block of East Underwood Avenue between 9 p.m. Aug. 21 and 11 a.m. Aug. 22. Loss is estimated at $230.

• Several tools were taken from a locked vehicle in the 3500 block of East Allerton Avenue between 10 p.m. Aug. 22 and 5 a.m. Aug. 23. Access was gained by smashing a rear window. Loss and damage are estimated at $750.

• Two bikes were taken from a yard in the 3200 block of East Henry Avenue between 10 p.m. Aug. 21 and 10 a.m. Aug. 22. Loss is estimated at $100.

• A car stereo faceplate was taken from a locked vehicle in the 3900 block of East Pulaski Avenue between 11 p.m. Aug. 21 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 22. Access was gained by prying open a rear window. Loss is estimated at $200.

• A 34-year-old St. Francis woman was arrested for retail theft after taking items from Walgreens, 3201 E. Layton Ave., at 6:44 p.m. Aug. 25.

DRUG POSSESSION

• A 22-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for possessing 3 grams of marijuana in the 5100 block of International Avenue at 8:14 p.m. Aug. 22.

VANDALISM

• A windshield on a vehicle was damaged in the 3100 block of East Vogel Avenue between noon Aug. 7 and 2:43 p.m. Aug. 11. Damage is estimated at $200.

• A 35-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for vandalism after slashing four tires on a vehicle in the 3700 block of East Armour Avenue at 4 a.m. Aug. 10. Damage is estimated at $480.

• Graffiti was found in a men's restroom stall at McDonald's, 6163 S. Packard Ave., at 3:46 a.m. Aug. 19. Damage is estimated at $100.

OTHER

• A 36-year-old Cudahy man was reported arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at City Lounge, 3455 E. Layton Ave., at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 22.

BURGLARY

• A computer and a bottle of glue were taken from American Acrylics USA, 108 11th Ave., between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 25 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 26. Access was gained by prying open a locked door. Loss is estimated at $600.

• Several electronic items were reported taken from an apartment in the 300 block of Southtowne Drive about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 29. Amount of loss is unknown.

THEFT

• A converter and 30 gallons of diesel fuel were taken from a dump truck parked in the 1200 block of Davis Avenue between 11 a.m. Aug. 11 and 11 a.m. Aug. 25. Loss is estimated at $340.

• A 20-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for burglary, disorderly conduct and operating a vehicle without the owner's permission after taking a vehicle from a warehouse in the 900 block of Milwaukee Avenue about 11 p.m. Aug. 15. When an officer asked the man why he was looking in car windows that evening, he told police "Obama" told him to do it.

• A bike, valued at $250, was taken from a garage in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue between 8:15 a.m. and 2 p.m. Aug. 16.

• A 48-year-old homeless man was arrested for retail theft after taking candy from Pick 'n Save, 2931 S. Chicago Ave., about 3 p.m. Aug. 22.

• A white, 1995 Ford work van was reported taken in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 9:42 a.m. Aug. 24. Amount of loss is unknown.

• Miscellaneous items were reported taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Marion Avenue about 7 p.m. Aug. 25. Amount of loss is unknown.

• A wheelchair was reported taken from a yard in the 900 block of Monroe Avenue about 7:40 p.m. Aug. 25. Amount of loss is unknown.

• A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possessing a small amount of marijuana, illegal drug paraphernalia and a lighter in the 100 block of Hawthorne Avenue about 7:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

• A 24-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for possessing marijuana after being stopped for a defective taillight at the intersection of Ninth and Montana avenues about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 32-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at the intersection of 12th and Michigan avenues about 9 p.m. Aug. 23. His blood-alcohol content is unknown.

• A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at the intersection of South Chicago and Blake avenues at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 24. His BAC is unknown.

ACCIDENTS
