Resler, 75 years
Roy and Ruth Resler celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary.
They were married on June 2, 1934, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
The couple marked the occasion with a party May 31, 2009, at The Patio, St. Francis.
Roy and Ruth were residents of Bay View for 84 years and Milwaukee for five years. They have been residents of St. Francis for the past seven years.
Roy and Ruth are the parents of Lyn (John) Schoenfeld, Milwaukee. They are the grandparents of Judy Shelly, Janet Derfus and Joy Burns. They also have four great-grandchildren.
Roy was the owner of Reslers Food Market for 22 years before retiring in 1976. Ruth retired from the market in the same year, also after 22 years.
