Halkowski, 50 years
Phillip and Eleanor Halkowski recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on April 18, 1959, in Wausau.
The couple marked the occasion with a party at the Boerner Botanical Gardens on April 19, 2009.
Phillip and Eleanor, residents of St. Francis for 44 years, are the parents of Timothy (Susan) of Stevens Point; Kay (Mark) Hurley of Oak Creek; Thomas (Dana) of Kennett Square, Pa.; Jeanne (Timothy) Grzegorczyk of Waterford; Karen (Robert) Rick of Waterford; and Todd (Michele) of Twin Lakes.
They are the grandparents of Nicholas, Madeline, Jessica, Ben, Lisel, Jack, Hannah, Henry, Nora and Harrison.
Phillip retired from Allen-Bradley after 39 years as a calibrator technician.
Eleanor is a homemaker for 50 years and still counting.
