The Way I See It!
I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.
Moving Forward
While Wal-Mart is not everything or all things, it is something. I do not believe in the dooms day prediction of Packard Ave. if Wal-Mart comes to Cudahy. I do believe that Wal-Mart is a piece of the puzzle towards recovery in Cudahy. I do believe that Lee Barzcak can still and will still find tenants of the public market. I feel it will actually get easier for him once Cudahy Station is finalized either way for the clogs Lee needs to find to complete his wheel called the Public Market.
Truly, What's The Beef With Wal-Mart?
First, it was Jobs and that Wal-Mart pushes out small business.

Wave may look to Oak Creek for training academy
The Milwaukee Wave and Continental Properties Co. Inc. may be looking to Oak Creek as the site for a soccer training academy and Wal-Mart Supercenter. The Cudahy Plan Commission rejected the Wave and Continental's proposal May 5 to build a 60,000-square-foot indoor soccer facility at the abandoned 26-acre Iceport site that also would have included a Wal-Mart Supercenter, a hotel and other retail stores. The proposal to build the project in the Cudahy tax incremental financing district was defeated by a vote of 4-3. "We were stunned, but there's plenty of land available in Oak Creek in tax incremental financing districts," said Mike Lafferty, president of the Wave. Lafferty declined to reveal specific sites in Oak Creek. So you want to be a better person
So, you want to be a better person for yourself and your fellow mankind. If you so choose to make it happen, it is as easy as four simple steps. Here is how you can accomplish that.
Gag Order
Gag Order - Judicial ruling barring public disclosure or discussion (as by the press) of information related to a case; broadly: a similar nonjudicial prohibition against the release of confidential information or against public discussion of a sensitive matter. (Definition by Merriam-Webster)
Talk Back - How to Make Our City Grow
Many communities have found the right mix of housing, retail and manufacturing to keep it viable and Cudahy needs to do the same. Cities are places where people can live, learn, work, visit and play. They should offer a wide range of services - schools, parks, health care, stores, restaurants and transportation, just to name a few. Cities that are vibrant, safe, and attractive are where residents, visitors and businesses want to be. Cudahy has what is necessary to be successful; it just needs to move forward.
Keeping Us In The "Noir"
Noir – French - means black or dark; noting the black numbers in roulette.
We can make a difference
As I stated in my State of Cudahy post, just after the “Master Plan” meeting I was talking to Mayor McCue and asked him if he was going to do a State of City address? He looked at me and said he had not thought about it before, but he thought it was a great idea. I was ecstatic to find out he took my suggestion and was going to do it.
True Authentic Leadership
This is Based on http://www.usnews.com/usnews/news/articles/061022/30authentic.htm
What is a Comprehensive Master Plan?
Not being a government employee and not having anyone explain what the master plan is, again shows that there is a lack of communication from the government to its citizens. I will try to do (again the job of government) and explain what it is and what it was. Mr. Mayor, if you would have explained what the “Master Plan” was and is many people, including myself, would have not been so hard on you about it. Again without sounding like a broken record or skipping CD, failure to communicate.
