Observing Memorial Day
Today is a day to honor our falling soldiers who have died in our wars protecting America and keeping America free. Take the time to fly an American flag in front of your home, to attend a Memorial Day observance (please see below), and call or visit a veteran you may know.

I didn't really understand why we called the day Jesus died on the cross "Good Friday". What was so "good" about it? Growing up, Easter was the "good" day, not only because the Easter bunny came, but it was a day we went to church and were able to yell several times, "Christ is Risen. He has Risen Indeed"!
