Cudahy Police Matters

On Sunday, July 25th, 2010, at 0103 hours, the Cudahy Police Department received a 911 Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Transfer from a citizen who reported hearing what they believed to be gun shots coming from the 3600 block of East Holmes Avenue in Cudahy.

The defendant stated that he was a member of the Latin Kings gang and carried a gun with him at all times for his protection, as the defendant believed there were some members of the Latin Kings who want him dead.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office has issued charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Repeater and Recklessly Endangering Safety (First Degree), Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Repeater.
After the shooting the defendant had disposed of the firearm. The Cudahy Police Department was able to recover the handgun.
