Roundabouts are good for when you are replacing four way stops, but not the answer for a stoplighted intersection that is busy with semi-trucks.
I ask those planning them make sure large laddered fire trucks can make it around them. Unlike semi-trucks that can swivel straight solid large laddered fire trucks cannot. Word to the wise!
