Reader Food Review - Steakhouses
After getting a discount gift certificate during the Newstalk 1130 Friday sale dine for less, I took my wife for her birthday to Carnevor. It was very easy to make a reservation, as it was online.

This is going to come as a shock to the elites of Cudahy/St. Francis but I'd put Dobie's Restaurant & Lounge steaks up against that of Carnevor in taste. I’ve had a great many steaks in my days and price-for-price Dobies shocked me when I went there. The only downside of Dobies was the atmosphere of cigarette smoke wafting around. I will look forward to going to Dobies when the smoking ban goes into effect. I’m not against people smoking, but I don’t want to pay for a dinner or take my kids to eat where people are smoking at the next table. I'll look forward to the steak and also the money I'll save instead of going downtown to Carnevor.
