The Way I See It!
I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.
I am Still Calling It Swine Flu!
Why call it H1N1 or N1H1? We were told that Swine Flu just doesn’t sit well with people and some just stopped buying pork products because of the fear of getting it from them!
So should we stop calling Chicken Pox, Chicken Pox and call it Varicella?
Do we sell less Chicken or consume less because of the name? Or is it educating people the real answer?
Swine Flu is Swine Flu and I don’t buy into the “PC” Political Correctness stuff.

CBS Says Number of Swine Flu Cases Is Exaggerated
CBS news is reporting that individual state-tallies indicate that H1N1 is not as widespread as once thought.
In July, the CDC unexpectedly informed states to stop testing for swine flu. They rationalized that the government had already declared it an epidemic and that resources were needlessly used.
States were not given an actual opportunity to provide any numbers. Public health officials disagreed with the decision because the mutating virus has a different epidemiology and a higher fatality rate.
