Apple acknowledges Snow Leopard data loss issue
Apple Admits to File Deletion Bug
Computer giant Apple has acknowledged a bug in its latest release of its operating system OSX Snow Leopard that deletes users data in the guest account.
The problem arises when users log into a guest account on their computer, when they return to their original account their data from their files folder has been erased.
A company statement released by Apple acknowledged the problem saying "We are aware of the issue, which occurs only in extremely rare cases, and we are working on a fix."
