Culinary no-no #319

Culinary no-no

THERE ARE THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF
FOOD BLOGS, BUT ONLY ONE CULINARY NO-
NO!

Looked inside my freezer the other day.

I was shocked.

Well, maybe not that shocked.

Surprised. At the very least, surprised to see these…

I believe we procured these about a month ago. MY favorite, the chocolate covered peanut butter numbers were gone in a few hours. Now, three or four weeks later, I discover there are still Girl Scout cookies in the house that haven’t been devoured.

What’s up with that?

Major no-no.

They should be gone, history, outta here.

End of Culinary no-no #319? No way, Jose.

The Fischer household is not alone. Countless families still have unopened Girl Scout cookies, and given the preponderance of food blogs, there are potentially just as many recipes about what to do with those leftovers as there are leftovers.

Round-Up of Amazingly Delicious Girl Scout Cookie Desserts!

Some, of course, would be beyond lip-smacking.

But that would be a Culinary yes-yes, and someone else is already doing that blog.

When I think of Girl Scout cookies, I personally do not think of fish dishes, stuffing, or popcorn. These entrees might be quite tasty, but I say stick to putting those cookies into fancy desserts.

Better yet, just eat them right out of the box and be done with them.

Speaking of Girl Scouts, I wouldn't dream of turning their cookie sales down. Yet some folks readily decline, and are actually looking for ways to do it.

Really?

Yes, really. Good grief, just let the moths out of your wallet and buy some cookies from the kid!

CULINARY NO-NO BONUSES

Some would consider this a no-no...not me.

How to screw up a simple classic.

"They taste yuck."  This is HILARIOUS!
