School will not have liaison officer

There will not be a police liaison officer walking the halls of St. Francis High School this fall. Despite the city's offer to pay half the $70,000 cost of an officer for the 2008-09 school year, St. Francis School District officials said their portion of the bill would be too expensive. in Mother's Day Contest

Holly Hopton Congratulations to Holly and Ruby Hopton of Milwaukee, who were voted the winners in the MyCommunityNOW.com and MilwaukeeMoms.com Mother-Daughter Look-Alike Contest.Mother and daughter each will receive a $250 savings account courtesy of Johnson Bank.

Johnson Bank Neva and Alexus Pipia of Menomonee Falls took second place and Sandi and Randi Trupke of Milwaukee won third place in the contest, and each will receive a $50 restaurant certificate.
